The McCloud Community Recreation Council is sponsoring the 69th Annual McCloud Lumberjack Fiesta.
Everyone is invited to come and boo the villain and cheer the hero in the historically based melodrama, scheduled to be performed Friday, Aug. 19, at 7 p.m.; Saturday, Aug. 20, at 1, 3 and 5 p.m.; and Sunday, Aug. 21, at 2 p.m. in the Community Church on the corner of California and Colombero Streets.
Quilts will be on display from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Main Street in Historic McCloud and in shops around town. There will be quilt vendors and a quilt raffle at the end of the day. Sponsored by the McCloud Heritage Junction Museum.
Vintage cars and motorcycles will line McCloud’s Main Street from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 20. Raffles are scheduled throughout the day, and awards will be presented at 2 p.m. The show is free of charge, presented by the McCloud High School Alumni Association.
The McCloud Alumni Association hosts its Monster Reunion every three years. The first of these events took place in 2007 with 600 attendees. Our second and third reunions were in 2010 and 2013, and each were even greater successes with over 1,000 participants!
McCloud Mountain Bluegrass 2016 is back September 10/11 and bigger than ever with TWO DAYS of performances, workshops, jamming, beer, food vendors and GREAT MUSIC!
The McCloud Chamber of Commerce and the Great Shasta Rail Trail Association invite you to have a day of fun in historic McCloud.
The 2nd Annual Apple Harvest Festival will be held on October 8th from 10am to 6pm on Main St, McCloud. There will be Artisan Craft vendors, Scarecrow Contest, Music, Fresh Pressed Apple Juice, Vendors, an Apple Pie contest¸ games, food and drink.
The Annual Dog & Pony show is fun for all ages. All animals welcome, Stick Pony Contest, Bike Brigade, C.D.F. with Sparke the Dog, Forestry with Smokey the Bear, Santa, Hot Apple Cider and awards for all the kids.

McCloud High School will be holding their annual Open House on Friday, May 27th, from 5PM - 9PM followed immediately by an all-ages dance until 11PM.
The Shasta Starr Ranch is holding a benefit 60’s dance party for both the Mt. Shasta Animal Hospital’s “Animal Aid Fund," and Shasta Sanctuary.
