13th Annual Mushroom Festival

Held every Memorial Day weekend, the mushroom festival celebrates the wild mushroom hunting that occurs every spring in and around McCloud. Event features live music, mushroom vendors, wine tasting, special mushroom delicacies, cooking demonstrations, seminars and educational booths on mushroom harvesting.

Annual Flea Market

Held annually for over 40 years on the first Sunday in June on Main Street, the McCloud Flea Market is a must visit!

The Flea Market, which is the largest in Siskiyou County, features collectibles, arts, crafts, antiques, tools, clothing, jewelry, furniture, and much more is offered in over 100 booths by vendors from throughout Northern California. 

The event will also include food booths, beer and music spun by Wildwoman Sounds Mobile DJ Geeia Dexter. 

A professional appraiser will conduct a professional verbal antique/collectible appraisal for only $5. Official written appraisals also can be obtained for an additional fee. 

Have a hearty breakfast at the Fireman's Pancake Breakfast from 7 a.m.to 10 a.m. in the bank parking lot, also on Main Street. For more information, please contact the Chamber Office at 530-964-3113. 

We welcome local residents and business owners as vendors.

The McCloud Alumni Association hosts its Monster Reunion every three years. The first of these events took place in 2007 with 600 attendees. Our second and third reunions were in 2010 and 2013, and each were even greater successes with over 1,000 participants!

Vintage cars and motorcycles will line McCloud’s Main Street from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 20. Raffles are scheduled throughout the day, and awards will be presented at 2 p.m. The show is free of charge, presented by the McCloud High School Alumni Association.

Everyone is invited to come and boo the villain and cheer the hero in the historically based melodrama, scheduled to be performed Friday, Aug. 19, at 7 p.m.; Saturday, Aug. 20, at 1, 3 and 5 p.m.; and Sunday, Aug. 21, at 2 p.m. in the Community Church on the corner of California and Colombero Streets.
