Held every Memorial Day weekend, the mushroom festival celebrates the wild mushroom hunting that occurs every spring in and around McCloud.

Sunday, September 10, 2017, come to the newly opened The Hall and Old Mill Distillery at the top of Main St. for the Mount Shasta Bioregional Ecology Center's Louisiana-themed benefit dinner, feature the legendary Maria Muldaur and her Bluesiana Band! The evening's performance begins at 7 pm, following a VIP "meet and greet" at 4:30 pm and Cajun Jambalaya dinner at 5:30 pm.
