A lovely series of events for the entire holiday season as part of the McCloud Victorian Christmas celebration! Help us promote your favorite local McCloud businesses and commerce with a social media post & our unique hashtag holiday campaign. See our Facebook page for photos and updates.

  • Christmas Open House at the Barn (10AM- 5PM): Friday, Nov. 23

    Location: Rustic Blue: Rustic Blu, located at the Old Red Barn, is known for some of the most beautiful and charming nostalgia, Christmas décor, and gifts. Make sure you stop by and visit with owner, Jennie, and her team of elves! Hot beverages and refreshments served.

  • 12th Annual Dog, Pony, & Bike Parade (Noon): Saturday, Nov. 24

    Registration starts at 10AM at Main St. and Colombero Drive.
    Parade starts at Noon on Main St., McCloud

    Bring your festive and bedecked pups, stick ponies and bikes for McCloud’s 12th annual parade. Santa will arrive at the end of the parade. Treats for dogs and locally crafted wreaths will be available for purchase.

  • McCloud’s Victorian Christmas (2-6PM): Saturday, December 1

    Location: Downtown McCloud

    NOTE: Marshmallows on Main will take place on December 1 instead of December 8

    This is the kick-off weekend for the month-long Victorian Christmas Sip & Shop celebration in McCloud. Join the fun with our shopkeepers by donning Victorian period attire! Christmas carolers will stir the holiday spirit as they wander Main Street. Guitarist André Mottershead will entertain in businesses around town. The very special “Marshmallows on Main” firepit roast (right along its namesake, Main Street) will inspire fun for all ages! This weekend will showcase a wreath and swag workshop ($20/person) in the Mercantile, next to Wildflower Bakes.

  • Sip & Shop at the McCloud Meat Market (5:30-8PM): Wednesday, December 5

    Weeknight Sip & Shop in McCloud with all Main Street shops staying open late. The McCloud Meat Market & Tavern will showcase local artisan gifts.

  • Christmas Magic (6PM): Friday, December 7

    *Sponsored by the McCloud Heritage Junction Museum and the McCloud Chamber of Commerce

    Santa arrives on a fire engine after touring around our beloved town with the sirens heralding this joyous season. Santa will light up our Main Street Christmas with a bit of magic! Stick around for your photo with the Big Man in Red. Candy Canes, Caroling, Cider, Cookies, Roasted Marshmallows will be served and delight the whole crowd.

  • McCloud Victorian Christmas- Children’s Day (2-6PM): Saturday, December 8

    Location: Downtown McCloud

    Join us as we continue the month-long Victorian Christmas Sip & Shop celebration in McCloud. Following Christmas Magic, today’s focus is on children. Among this weekend’s many events are cookie decorating and craft projects at several McCloud businesses. Christmas carolers will stir the holiday spirit as they wander Main Street. Guitarist André Mottershead will entertain in businesses around town. Horse & Wagon rides will be available on Main Street ($5 per adult and FREE for children under 12). Pick up a Victorian Christmas passport at participating businesses for $5. The passport includes a free wagon ride. Have it stamped as you shop and turn it in for a chance to win a holiday gift basket.

  • McCloud Innkeeper’s Tour (11-3PM): Saturday, December 15

    McCloud Innkeepers open their historic lodgings decked out in full holiday regalia for tours. Keep an eye out for a special visit by a McCloud historical figures and roasted chestnuts! Horse & Wagon rides will be available on Main Street ($5 per person). Pick up a Victorian Christmas passport at participating businesses for $5. The passport includes a free wagon ride. Have it stamped as you shop and turn it in for a chance to win a holiday gift basket.

  • McCloud Hotel High Tea with Victorian Scones (11-3): Saturday, December 15

    Take a break from holiday shopping with a formal British tea service at the historic McCloud Hotel. Reservations are recommended: 530-964-2822

    Location: Axe & Rose Cascade Room Stage- 424 Main St.

    This season’s only Siskiyou County performance of “Scrooge: An Evening with Charles Dickens”. This original adaptation, and performance, by Bennett Gale is sure to be your newest yuletide tradition!

  • Christmas Carols Around the Fireplace (4-4:45PM): Saturday, December 22

    Hosted by the McCloud Hotel and Young Imaginations

    Please come join Jean Miller, Marianne Locke, and accompanist Dr. Jerry Moore in the historic McCloud Hotel lobby for Christmas carols. Children (ages 3-9) will assemble at 4PM on the grand staircase and lead us in holiday favorites including Jingle Bells, We Wish You a Merry Christmas, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, and more!.

  • McCloud Hotel Annual Dicken’s Dinner (5:30PM): Saturday, December 22

Held every Memorial Day weekend, the mushroom festival celebrates the wild mushroom hunting that occurs every spring in and around McCloud.
