This year’s Apple Harvest Festival is turning up the fun with live music all day! We're proud to announce a returning favorite, Front Porch, and Nor Cal sensation Summer Schappell are performing on our Main Street stage this year.
Front Porch's tag line speaks to their genre-busting repertoire: “Renegade Bluegrass, Roots Country, & Acoustic whatnot”. Their three-part harmonies will thrill & delight & their edgy alternatives will surprise & entertain! From Bill Monroe to Bob Wills to Pink Floyd, Front Porch's selection of fresh and innovative tunes, combined with their free-spirited solos, & playful audience interaction will leave you wanting more & more!
Summer Schappell is a rising country powerhouse who blends the timeless charm of Dolly Parton with the edge of Fleetwood Mac. A former member of Team Gwen on The Voice Season 9, Summer has shared the stage with legends like LeAnn Rimes, Jason Aldean. LeeAnn Rimes, and more. Her sound is a bold mix of attitude and nostalgia, captivating audiences with every performance. With a voice that commands attention and a presence you won't forget, Summer Schappell is a show not to miss.
FOOD & DRINKS
There will be food trucks serving up something for every taste, so bring your appetite. The beer booth will feature the usual favorites, plus a couple special options selected just for the festival.

From handcrafted jewelry and pottery to unique art, natural skincare, and one-of-a-kind gifts - you'll find something special made with heart by makers and creatives. If you are interested in being a vendor for this event, click on the link/s below.
FAMILY FUN
Round up the kiddos and have your camera ready! Smiles are guaranteed at this festival. Enjoy the pumpkin patch, a petting zoo, face painting, a puppet show, wagon rides, fresh pressed apple cider, and so much more!
APPLE DESSERT CONTEST
Do you have a secret apple pie recipe? A show-stopping apple crumble? A caramel apple creation that people beg for?
Put your skills to the test at our Apple Dessert Contest! Local celebrity judges will rate dishes by such categories as appearance, originality, and of course, TASTE! The chef deemed to have the best dish will receive a custom gift from an artisan vendor and a gift from a McCloud business. All desserts must be at the registration booth no later than 10:45am to be entered. Winners will be announced in the early afternoon.
HOMEMADE APPLE PIES FOR SALE & FRESH APPLES FOR THE TAKING
Homemade pies, baked fresh and full of flavor, will be available to purchase at the festival. You can pre-order yours here: Homemade Pie Order. And while you're here, grab some fresh local apples, free for the taking. Great for snacking, baking, and bringing a taste of the festival home.
SPECIAL BOOK SIGNINGS
The McCloud Heritage Museum will host a special book signing event, You will be able to meet author Jeff Moore. Jeff is an authority on the history of railroads tied to the timber industry. This fascinating talk, along with refreshments for purchase, will be happening 11:00-1:30 at The McCloud River Inn. www.mccloudmuseum.com
You will also be able to meet Debi Chimenti who is a children’s author from Redding, California. Her book, Kid Klown and the Butterfly Adventures, is a playful, rhyming tale that inspires kindness, and friendship. Debi’s mission is to create stories that spark imagination and leave a lasting impact on young readers. She will be located on Main street and Lawndale.
