78th Annual McCloud Lumberjack Fiesta – July 25–27, 2025

Get ready for three days of classic small-town fun as McCloud celebrates its longest-running tradition at the 78th Annual McCloud Lumberjack Fiesta, hosted by the McCloud Recreation Council. Set against the scenic backdrop of Hoo Hoo Park, this iconic event delivers thrilling entertainment for the whole family.

Date & Location

• When: Friday, July 25 at 4 PM to Sunday, July 27 at 6 PM, 2025

• Where: Hoo Hoo Park, McCloud, CA 96057 

Highlights & Events

• Livestock- and Logging Competitions: Watch Jr. and Adult Amateur logging shows featuring axe throwing, choker setting, buck saw events, and more.

• Lil Logger & Miss Fiesta Pageant: Kick off Friday evening with adorable kids in their lumberjack and fiesta finery.

• Classic Tournaments: Cheer on participants in softball and horseshoe tournaments, or test your skills in the watermelon-eating contest.

• Parade: Saturday’s parade down Main Street is a crowd favorite, with festive floats and community spirit.

• Carnival & Vendors: Enjoy waterslides, horse‑drawn wagon rides, live music, craft booths, and food trucks—plus cold beer and treats from local vendors.

Fun for All AgesWith activities spanning from pancake breakfasts Saturday morning to evening dance parties, the Lumberjack Fiesta offers nonstop entertainment and intergenerational fun.

• Free Admission – Everyone is welcome, no tickets required .

• Parking & Seating: Bring lawn chairs and blankets for optimal comfort, or reserve in-town accommodations early—this event draws about 5,000 attendees .
