With all this new snow, what is McCloud to do? Well, McCloud Outdoors and McCloud Millworks have partnered up to bring Snowshoe McCloud Historic Guided Tours to the old mill property. They will be kicking off their new endeavor Saturday, January 28th at 1PM for a 2-3 hour guided tour complete with a history lesson along the way. For only $55 you get a snowshoe rental, hot drinks, cookies, and a guided tour along a groomed trail with Mount Shasta as your backdrop.
For more information, visit McCloud Outdoors Gear & Exchange's Facebook page or call them at 530.925.9116.
Our town of McCloud looks forward to hosting you soon!

Exploring a historic mill property in the snow requires careful observation and a steady pace. This level of environmental awareness is just as important as staying focused while monitoring cameras in FNAF.
I enjoy studying how iconic seasonal outfits influence fashion trends and cultural moments. Festive wear carries strong symbolism. The Santa Claus Costume Collection stands as an example of enduring holiday style.
I went on the Snowshoe McCloud tour last winter, and it was such a cool way to explore the area—I loved learning the history while taking in Mount Shasta’s view. It felt kind of like playing Drift Boss, where you have to navigate the trail carefully but still enjoy the scenery and have fun. The hot drinks and cookies at the end were the perfect touch!
There are moments in Drift Hunters that feel strangely mathematical — the clean arc of a turn, the elegant symmetry of two countersteers balancing each other out, the way a drift settles into a curve that looks almost sketched onto the air.
